HEART OF PRAISE - GKI MY

Tanggal 27 November 2010 kemaren gereja tempat gw ibadah dan pelayanan selama gw mengais ilmu di Bandung baru aja bikin sebuah pergelaran musik. Yah, istilah gerejawi-nya sih malam puji-pujian yang bertajuk "Heart of Praise". Yang ngisi acaranya tentu aja para jemaat dan simpatisan yang aktif melayani di situ..

Kebetulan, gw ikutan salah satu paduan suara, yaitu paduan suara buat kalangan pemuda - Immanuel - di GKI Maulana Yusuf (GKI MY). Dan kalo ada acara besar-besar begini biasanya semua perkumpulan paduan suara bergabung menjadi Paduan Suara Gabungan GKI MY. Nah, jadi untuk acara ini Paduan Suara Tabernakel (isinya Song Leader), Paduan Suara Kharisma (buat bapak2/ibu2), kecuali Paduan Suara Yosia (yang isinya anak-anak sekolah minggu) bergabung tuh jadi satu. :D

Acaranya oke-oke.. Ada Band gereja, angklung, dan ada penampilan pujian dari Arpeggio Testified yang personil2nya biasa pelayanan juga di gereja ini. Sungguh, buat gw ini jadi pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan kenangan yang bisa dibanggakan karena kan gw udah lama gak pernah perform di gereja begini. Dulu pas SD, sewaktu gereja gw masih di GBI Bethany Senayan, gw sering tuh ikutan pelayanan nyanyi, drama, dan pertunjukkan2 lainnya. Abis itu udahan deh, gak pernah lagi gw ikut acara gereja dalam bentuk apa pun. hahaha.
Tujuan dari pertunjukkan ini bukan buat kesenengan gw semata ato pamer bakat kok, tapi pure gw kepengen banget bisa nunjukkin kalo pelayanan itu bisa jadi sesuatu yang menyenangkan orang lain juga selain buat Tuhan dan kreativitas kita terasah biarpun dalam hal gerejawi...

i love what i love

music is one of the best thing that existed in this world and i love how music had affected my life.

i liked to play piano ever since i was a little girl.. i remembered first time i fell in love with classical music. it was a sunny day and i was about 8 years old.. mom took me to a concert in Jakarta Arts Building. i didn't exactly remember the songs they played, but since then i know i had interest in music deeper than before. i love classical music and wondering to become professional pianist. mom knew i have talent for music and let me had piano courses.

as time goes by,
15 years since that day and i still love music...
you know what, now i'm trying to play violin... mom said it's already too late to learn it.. oh, how sad! i'm not good at it but still want to try my best..
i want to be able to play piano, violin, harp, and cello! those are my favorite instruments!

Violin+Cello=Happiness

I love classical music. I have attended and watched two concerts when I was a kid. Since then, I ALWAYS love classical music. For me, it is like a miracle of music. From all kind of music instruments, I always want to play a violin because you can create a beautiful sound from such a small instrument with just four strings on it...so amazing! And cello? wow, a big one with great sound!

I don't know why but in my eyes, both of that instruments are cool but also have a romantic side.

Just by looking at someone played them and hear the sound, could make me happy and give me a good feeling... :)
